Harry Potter Already Causing a Box Office Storm

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is sure to be a big hit at the U.S. box office - almost 500 showtimes for the film have already sold out, two weeks ahead of its release.

Bosses at top movie ticket agency Fandango report 61 per cent of its daily business is for Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 1 seats.

The movie opens in the U.S. on 19 November (10).

Fandango Chief Operating Officer Rick Butler tells WENN, "We’ve seen more sold out showtimes for this film than
we’ve seen for any other film this year, at the same point in the sales cycle."

The movie is the final book in the Potter franchise but has been split into two movies, the second coming in the summer of next year.

The film sees Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson once again unite to battle the evil force that is Voldermort.

The film franchise has already grossed over $5.4 billion at the global box office, yet not one of the movies in the series has broke the magical $1 billion barrier.

Two films have already done that this year - Alice In Wonderland and Toy Story 3 - could Harry Potter finally have it's first billion dollar movie?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is released 19th November.
