Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 is the third biggest movie of all time.

The film has now taken in excess of $1,137 billion since it's release four weeks ago and has now overtaken The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King to overtake third spot.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 marks the end of the popular Potter franchise, ten years after it first began.

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint took on the roles of Harry, Hermione and Ron for the final time in a movie that has been met well by the critics.

But the movie has a long way to go if the movie wants to oust Titanic from the number two spot as the 1997 movie took $1,843 billion when it was released.

Avatar is way out in from as the film took in excess of $2,782 billion - the only movie in history to break the $2 billion barrier.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 is out now.
