Helena Bonham Carter

Helena Bonham Carter has revealed that she wants to work with a wide range of filmmakers and not just Tim Burton.

The actress is a regular collaborator with her director partner - having worked on six movies together over the years.

But she believes that working with new faces would make her ‘calmer’.

Speaking to The Daily Mail the actress said: "I am available for work other than with the boyfriend. And I will certainly make it a calmer, easier, happier set to work on.”

The actress can currently be seen in Tom Hooper’s movie The King’s Speech, which sees her team up with Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush.

She takes on the role of Queen Elizabeth in the movie and was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar.

“I feel like I'm flying on their coattails. But it is good for me to be seen as vaguely normal in a film instead of being dressed as a witch or some strange character."

The actress has already completed work on Toast and will reprise the role of Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2.

The King’s Speech is out now.
