Hugh Grant Considers Retirement

Hugh Grant has admitted that he has considered retiring from acting.

The actor revealed that despite his years in the industry he still struggles in front of the camera.

The actor told Entertainment Weekly:  "I like everything about filming except the acting. I'm wonderful in rehearsals, but I've never been very good when they actually switch the cameras on.

"In recent years, I've had really bad attacks, where I totally freeze up. I thought, 'Well, if I'm going to get stage fright, then I'm packing it in'."

"I feel foolish having said so often, 'Oh, I don't want to do any more [films]'. And then I always do."

Grant hasn't appeared on the big screen since Music and Lyrics back in 2007 however he will star in Did You Hear About the Morgans? in the new year alongside Sarah Jessica Parker.
