Hugh Jackman Backs Oscar Hosts

Hugh Jackman thinks that Anne Hathaway and James Franco will do a 'great job' of hosting the Oscars later this month.

Jackman hosted and all singing and all dancing show two years ago and believes that the partnership for Franco and Hathaway will be a successful one.

Speaking to Extra the actor said: "Anne helped me out when I hosted the Oscars, as you remember. I think she's phenomenally talented.

"And James is one of the most versatile guys around, so between the two of them, I think they are going to be surprising and do a great, great job!"

And while Franco may be hosting the awards the actor has also bagged a Best Actor nomination for his role in 127 Hours.

The Oscar winners will be announced 27th February.
