Jason Isaacs says that the Harry Potter series has a 'triumphant exit' with final movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2.

After a decade of thrilling audiences all around the world the franchise comes to a close this week with the final movie - in which Isaacs reprises the role of Lucius Malfoy.

And the British actor had nothing but praise for everyone involved in the ten year project before calling the final movie 'sensational'.

Speaking to Digital Spy the actor said:"The fact is that a lot of people were immensely talented. JK Rowling wrote these amazing books, and then along the way, all the producers... and all the directors, including David Yates [with] the last four, continue to make the right decisions and didn't mess it up.

"Because it would've been really easy at any point to make the wrong decision and the whole thing would come crashing down."

"What I feel enormous relief about is, we got to the end and continue to do fantastic movies.

"The last movie is a sensational, triumphant exit from the series, and there's not one bad thing in there."

Isaacs has mixed and matched his roles so far this year with TV series Case Histories before lending his voice to Cars 2.

He will be back on the big screen in September as he teams up with Taylor Lautner for Abduction.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 is released 15th July.
