Jason Statham Not Heading To Transformers

Jason Statham has revealed that he has not been offered the lead role in further Transformers movies.

The Brit actor had been topped to take over the franchise, one which Shia LaBeouf left this summer, for a possible two more movies.

However Statham admits that he has no idea how rumours like this star.

Speaking to MTV the actor said "You know, I don't know how those things start. You read them.

"Someone told me about it. [But] the internet is a dangerous place. There's a lot of stuff out there."

"I've got a lot of stuff in front of me, but Michael Bay is a talented man. This last one just made a billion dollars around the world, so people like his films. He's a talented man."

The actor is currently filming The Expendables 2, where he will reprise the role of Lee Christmas.

He has already completed Parker and Safe and has been linked to sixth Fast and Furious movie.
