Jeff Bridges has revealed that it would be 'cool' to win an Oscar.

The actor has picked up a Best Actor nod for his central performance in Crazy Heart and he has already take home the Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards.

It's bridges fifth Oscar nomination but he is yet to walk away with the most coveted prize in the movie world.

He told Digital Spy: "To me, personally, it feels great to get the nod from my guys, you know? From the actors, people who do what I do saying, 'Hey, good going, atta boy!' That feels great; the nomination.

"And, you know, with the awards themselves; it would be wonderful to have that little gold guy, that cool statuette. That would be cool. I'd like that," Bridges explained.

"But however it works out, I don't have too much emotional attachment to winning it, or not. I think about the awards and I can't... I don't know.

"Can you imagine? Can you put yourself in that position? It's odd. You know? It's odd! It's tense, you know? I don't like being tense, being anxious and all that, and that's a place where I find I am."

But the actor show no sign of slowing down with Tron Legacy and true Grit both on the horizon.
