Julianne Moore will be the toast of the upcoming Rome Film Festival in Italy when she is honoured for her career achievements.
 
The Hours star will premiere her latest movie, The Kids Are All Right, at the annual event and she will be acknowledged by festival organisers for her ability to represent both mainstream Hollywood and independent movies, according to artistic director Piera Detassis.
 
The 2010 Rome Film Festival will also mark the 50th anniversary of director Federico Fellini's La Dolce Vita with a special screening of the restored classic.
 
Actresses Keira Knightley and Eva Mendes will open the event on 28 October (10) with their new marital drama Last Night.

Julianne Moore is back on the big screen later this month with her new movie The Kids Are All Right, which also stars Annette Benning and Mark Ruffalo.

She has also completed work on another movie Crazy, Stupid, Love.

The Kids Are All Right is released 29th October.
