Katherine Heigl has called her first action role 'painstaking'.
Heigl teams up with Ashton Kutcher next week for action comedy Killers, which is directed by Robert Luketic, and is her first movie since The Ugly Truth last year.
Speaking at the premiere in London she said: "It's really fun but it's little bits at a time, so it's a little bit painstaking for me. I like those dialogue scenes where you're sort of bantering."
"One of my favourite scenes of the movie was the pregnancy test scene because that was just sort of Ashton and I improv-ing. I thought that we were really good at bickering together!
"The action side of it that requires everything being re-set and put in its place ... so it can take a day or two to do one tiny little thing."
Heigl returned to our TV screen earlier this year when she reprised the role of Izzy Stevens in hit medical drama Grey's Anatomy. But she has a second movie die out this year, Life As We Know It.
The film sees her team up with Josh Duhamel, and sees Heigl step into the role of executive producer.
She is also set to star in One For The Money, which she starts filming in September.
Killers is released 18th June.
