Laura Linney is rumoured to be in talks to appear in the upcoming WikiLeaks movie.
The movie is set to be directed by Bill Condon while British actor Benedict Cumberbatch has already been cast as WiliLeaks founder Julian Assange.
It is not yet clear what role Linney would play in the movie.
Another actor who is linked to the project is James McAvoy who is also believed to be in talks to play Daniel Domscheit-Berg - Assange's former right hand man.
The movie is based on the book My Time With Julian Assange At The World's Most Dangerous Website which was penned by Domscheit-Berg.
As for Linney she is back on the big screen in Hyde Park On Hudson which is a movie that could possibly earn her an Oscar nomination.
The actress has balanced movies with TV work in the last couple of years as she has taken on the central character in comedy The Big C.
But Hyde Park On Hudson will see her star alongside Bill Murray and Olivia Williams while
Roger Michell is in the director's chair.
Filming on the WikiLeaks movie is expected to get underway next year.
