Martin Short has described Frankenweenie as 'spectacular'.
The actor joined Tim Burton and Catherine O'Hara on the red carpet as the stop motion animation movie opened the BFI London Film Festival earlier this week.
The actor voices three characters in the film including Mr Frankenstein and the actor says that he was his idea of a father.
The actor also voices the characters of Mr Burgemeister and Nassor and is just one of two of the stars who were given three different roles - the other being Catherine O'Hara.
This is the second project of the year that has seen Short to voice work as he also appears in Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted.
And there is more voice work in the pipeline for the actor as he teams up with Lea Michele and Patrick Stewart for Dorothy of Oz next year.
