It looks like Michael Bay could well be returning to helm a fourth Transformers movie.
It was believed that he would be leaving the franchise after the third instalment that hit the big screen this summer but it is now believed that he is in talks to direct a fourth.
Dark of the Moon saw Shia LaBeouf bow out of the franchise and the movie went on to gross in excess of $1 billion over the summer.
It has been suggested that production on the film will get under way this time next year as Bay is set to direct new project Pain and Gain.
Pain and Gain is set to be a smaller project that what we are use to from Bay - it was rumoured that he was talking to Dwayne Johnson about starring in the movie.
However who would lead the cast in a potential fourth Transformers movie is, for the moment, unclear.
