Michael Fassbender has hinted that he would like to play James Bond in the future.
2011 has been a great year for the actor with Jane Eyre and X-Men: First Class under his belt.
However the actor had nothing but praise for current Bond actor Daniel Craig - who is set to reprise the role in Skyfall.
Speaking to Total Film the actor said: "I think Daniel is doing a great job and I don't think too far into the future. It's one step at a time right now.
"Of course, every guy knows the feeling of walking round the house singing the song to himself, walking around corners with an imaginary gun. Let's see what happens."
And the new year is set to belong to the actor as he has three movies on the horizon - Haywire and A Dangerous Method see him tem up with Steven Soderbergh and David Cronenberg.
But it is Shame that is creating all the frenzy as he has already picked up a Best Actor gong for his performance at the Venice Film Festival earlier this year.
