Michelle Pfeiffer believes that Anne Hathaway is going to be great in the role of Catwoman.
Hathaway takes over the role in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, a role Pfeiffer herself played in Batman Returns - which was directed by Tim Burton.
Speaking to Hollywood Life the actress said: "I think [Anne] is going to be amazing. She has the darkness and the comedy - she's got it all.
"She's going to be great."
The Dark Knight Rises is the third Batman movie for Nolan and sees him once again team up with Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne.
Gary Oldman, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman will also be reprising their roles. But Hathaway is not the only new face on the cast last as Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom hardy and Marion Cotillard will also be starring in the movie.
The Dark Knight Rises promises to be one of the biggest grossing movies when it hits the big screen next summer.
The Dark Knight Rises is released 20th July 2012.
