Noel Clarke believes that Emma Roberts could be more successful that her Oscar winning aunt Julia.
The teenage actress teams up with Clarke for his new movie 4.3.2.1., which he wrote, directs and appears in.
and the director admits that he was impressed with Roberts during filming and was glad of her support for the movie.
Speaking to Bang Showbiz Clarke said: "Emma was great. Emma was the second or third person to sign up and get on board, she wanted to do the movie from the beginning. I appreciated that.
"She gave 100 percent and for her to come over and do a small British film like this is hopefully testament to what we did with the film.
"I think she could be bigger than Julia. I think she most definitely could be better. She's young.
"You won't realise this yet, but in a few years time you'll think, 'Oh yeah, Noel did say that'."
4.3.2.1. is the first movie that Clarke has directed since the success of Adulthood back in 2008.
4.3.2.1. is released 4th June.
