Rachel Bilson is returning to her TV roots - the actress has landed another guest role on hit U.S. comedy How I Met Your Mother.
 
Bilson has starred in sci-fi movie Jumper and romantic drama New York, I Love You since teen show The O.C. ended in 2007 and she scored a small part in Neil Patrick Harris' sitcom earlier this year (10).
 
She is now set to reprise her role as Cindy in the forthcoming sixth season of How I Met Your Mother, according to Entertainment Weekly's Ausiello Files.
 
Series creator Carter Bays says, "The season premiere is going to be very much informed by her presence."

Bilson has worked sparingly on the big screen in the last couple of years with Jumper in 2008 and New York, I Love You last year.
