Regan Hall has revealed that making a summer athletics movie in winter was one of the most challenging aspects to shooting Fast Girls.
Hall makes his feature length directorial debut this week as he brings the Noel Clarke penned screenplay to the big screen.
Hall chatted on the red carpet about shooting the movie in winter and while they did get the sun he reveals that it was incredibly cold.
The director was joined on the red carpet by actors Lenora Crichlow and Lily James as well as Clarke.
Fast Girls follows a group of young women as they train for the athletics world championships where they are looking for a gold medal and it brings together a great British cast.
Hall mixed the experience of the likes of Clarke and Crichlow, who is making the transition from TV, to introducing new talent such as Lorraine Burroughs and Dominique Tipper.
Fast Girls is released 15th June.
