Filming on the new RoboCop movie got underway this weekend and already the first on set picture has been revealed.
And the image - which came courtesy of ComingSoon.net - shows a new look to the RoboCop suit.
This time around they have gone for a black, sleek almost Batmanesque design - which is a s far cry for the rather bulky metallic get-up of the eighties.
This time around José Padilha is in the director's chair while Joel Kinnaman will play Alex Murphy aka RoboCop.
And he is joined by an all star cast as Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson and Jay Baruchel are all on board.
Filming on the movie has just got underway in Toronto and the movie is expected to hit the big screen 9th August 2013.
