Rosie Huntington Whiteley has revealed that trying to make her Transformers: Dark of the Moon character fashionable was difficult becasue of all the stunt work that was in the movie.

The model made her big screen debut with the third movie in the Transformers series as Carly, the replacement for Megan Fox.

And while she admits she tried to bring her love of fashion to the character is was difficult.

Speaking to MSN Movies the actress said: "I love fashion and it's such a big part of my life," she said. "I really wanted to bring that to my character and make her kind of fashionable."

"One thing I learned about this movie with the wardrobe was to try and persuade the director not to make you wear heels all the way through an action sequence.

"And if you could get jeans that you can fit stunt pads down, that might be a good idea too."

Transformers: Dark of the Moon has topped the box office in both the U.S. and the UK and has taken $454 million at the global box office in just a week.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is out now.
