Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has revealed that she was not happy with her first audition for Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

The actress has replaced Megan Fox for the third move in the franchise - movie that will mark her big screen debut.

But she admits that she went into the interview 'blind' and was not confident when she left.

Speaking to MTV News the actress said: "I went to the audition and really I knew nothing about the role.

"No-one had said anything; it was just a role in Transformers so I kind of thought it would be an extra part or a cameo or something.

"I went in a bit blind and also, it was my first-ever audition. I went in completely not knowing what I was doing. I left feeling not confident.

"There's something for everyone in it; there's the romance, the comedy, the drama, the action, there's the special effects."

The actress teams up with Shia LaBeouf in the movie as he returns to the role of Sam Witwicky.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is released 29th June.
