The first image of Oscar winner Russell Crowe in the role of Noah in the Darren Aronofsky directed movie has been revealed.
Filming on the re-imagining of the biblical tale is currently underway and USA Today were on hand to unveil the first image of the actor.
Noah will be the first movie for Aronofsky since his critical hit Black Swan and sees him team up with Crowe for the first time.
The likes of Jennifer Connelly, Douglas Booth, Logan Lerman and Anthony Hopkins are also on the star studded cast list.
While the picture itself doesn't give anything away about the movie it is a first peek at Crowe in character.
But we will be seeing Crowe on the big screen sooner than Noah as he is set to play Javert in Les Miserables and Jor-El in Man of Steel.
The movie is set for a March 2014 release.
