Samuel L. Jackson has revealed that he is shocked to see his name on the cast list of Thor.
The actor appeared at the end of Iron Man as Nick Fury back in 2008 but didn't know that he had been cast in the latest Marvel movie to go into production.
Speaking to MTV the actor said: "Nobody's told me anything. I was reading the trades last week and I saw the cast list.
"My name was in it, so maybe I am doing something that I don't know about and I'll hear about it soon," he said of his involvement with Thor.
"I don't know what's going on. Since Disney's bought the franchise, I have no idea what Marvel told them or even if my deal with Marvel is still valid."
Thor stars Chris Hemsworth in the title role and follows the reckless actions of Thor who ignites an ancient war.
As punishment for his actions he is banished to earth to live amongst the humans. But whilst on earth he learns of his enemies’ plan to invade earth.
Jackson is also expected to reprise the role of Nick Fury in this summer's Iron Man 2.
