Sandra Bullock is baffled by reports she was due to join the all-star line-up for Sylvester Stallone's action movie The Expendables - because she was never approached about the project.
The Speed star was alleged to be hitting the big screen alongside action men Stallone, Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Jason Statham and Eric Roberts in the film, which revolves around a group of mercenaries who set out to overthrow a South American dictator.
But Bullock was surprised to hear she was linked to the forthcoming picture - because she had no knowledge of the film even existing.
She tells EmpireOnline.com, "I don't know where that came from. I never read the script, I didn't even know what the script was about."
Bullock was in the UK last week to promote her new movie The Proposal, in which she stars alongside Ryan Reynolds.
The Proposal sees a return to the big screen for the actress after a two year absence. The Propsal topped the U.S. box office.
A second comedy movie All About Steve is released later this year and she is currently filming The Blind Side.
