Hellboy's reign at the top of the UK box office came to an abrupt end after just one week as comedy Step Brothers claimed the number one spot in the opening weekend.Starring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly the film follows Ferrell plays Brennan Huff, a sporadically employed thirtynine-year-old who lives with his mother, Nancy (Mary Steenburgen).Reilly plays Dale Doback, a terminally unemployed forty-year-old who lives with his father, Robert (Richard Jenkins). When Robert and Nancy marry and move in together, Brennan and Dale are forced to live with each other as step brothers.The film only just held off a spirited challenge from Mamma Mia who which held onto the number two spot. Live Tyler's new film The Strangers rounded off the big three.Hellboy II: The Golden Army fell to number four and was this week's biggest faller moving four places and The Dark Knight is still inside the top five grossing just under £1 million.
