Taylor Lautner has revealed that he would to have a career like Tom Cruise.
The actor admires how Cruise has moved from genre to genre and admits that this is something that he would love to do throughout his career.
Speaking to Empire magazine the actor said: "I do love action movies, but I don't want to become just an action hero.
"I consider Tom Cruise a real hero of mine, and I'd like to build a career like his; doing dramas, action and comedy."
The teenage star is back on the big screen this week as he returns to the role of Jacob Black in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the third movie in the franchise to hit the big screen.
The film has already topped the U.S. box office taking $160 million in it's opening five days. Eclipse is the second number one movie for Lautner this year after the success of Valentine's Day back in February.
The actor will return to the role of Black for Breaking Dawn but has plenty of other work in the pipeline including Abduction, which he is currently filming, and Stretch Armstrong.
