Taylor Lautner has admitted that he is keen to take on a dramatic role.
The actor returns to the role of Jacob Black this summer in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the third movie in the franchise but is keen to try different movie genres.
Speaking to MTV he said: "I want to challenge myself to everything - I've got a really cool action thriller and then an awesome superhero movie, but I want to find a great drama script.
However the actor was quick to claim that he has no intnetion of moving into musicals.
"No, I mean, people actually tell me that I can [sing], but I think they're just being nice - because I definitely can't!
"No Hairspray 2 [for me]!"
And while Lutner will be reprising the role of Black once more for the final Twilight instalment Breaking Dawn the young star has plenty of other projects in the pipeline.
He is currently filming Abduction with Maria Bello and Sigourney Weaver as well as having Stretch Armstrong in the pipeline.
