Marvel Comic movies' latest offering The Incredible Hulk, starring Ed Norton, has enjoyed further success storming to the top of the UK box office.The film, which is currently also number one in America, grossed over £3.2 million in it's opening weekend knocking Sex and the City off the top spot after a two week reignBruce Banner (Edward Norton) is desperately hunting for a cure to the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashed the unbridled force of rage within him: The Hulk.Living in the shadows, cut of from the life he knew and the woman he loves - Betty Ross (Liv Tyler), Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis General Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt) and the military machinery that seeks to capture him and brutally exploit his power.The Happening was the only other new entry in the top as it appeared in the chart at number four, despite a savaging from the critics.Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull fell one place to number three while Superhero Movie fell two places from number three to round off the top five.The critically acclaimed picture Gone Baby Gone and Mongol also retained their position within the top ten both falling just one place to six and ten respectfully.The other Marvel film Iron Man fell two places from seven to nine after seven weeks inside the UK box office top ten.
