The Two Faces Of January

Kirsten Dunst and Viggo Mortensen are set to team up next year with new movie The Two Faces of January.

The movie is a big screen adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's novel and sees Hossein Amini pen the script as well as helm the project.

Hossein has penned many screenplays such as Snow White and the Huntsman and Drive in recent years but The Two Faces of January will mark his directorial debut.

MOrtensen and Dunst play a married couple in the movie while Oscar Isaacs is also on the cast list.

1962. A glamorous American couple, the charismatic Chester Macfarland (Mortensen) and his alluring younger wife Colette (Dunst), arrive in Athens by boat via the Corinthian Canal.

While sightseeing at the Acropolis they encounter Rydal (Isaac), a young, Greek-speaking American who is working as a tour guide, scamming tourists on the side.

Drawn to Colette’s beauty and impressed by Chester's wealth and sophistication, Rydal gladly accepts their invitation to dinner.

However, all is not as it seems with the MacFarlands and Chester’s affable exterior hides darker secrets.

The Two Faces of January is released next year.
