Tom Cruise reveals that he picked up an odd injury while filming his new movie Jack Reacher.
This Boxing Day Cruise is back on the big screen as he takes on the title role in the adaptation of the Lee Child novel.
And Cruise may be use to filming action sequences but it was a simple move that seemed to injure his foot.
Speaking to Jimmy Fallon the actor said: "There's a scene where I'm kicking a guy in the balls, the testicles... It was a human being, [but] no testicles were injured in the making of the film!
"We had to do the take over and over again, and the first 10 times it was like, 'Yeah!' After about 50 times in, my foot was swelling... I kept having to loosen my shoe."
Jack Reacher sees Cruise team up with director Christopher McQuarrie while Rosamund Pike and Richard Jenkins are also on the cast list.
Cruise will also be kicking off the 2013 summer blockbuster season with his next movie Oblivion while he is currently filming All You Need Is Kill.
Jack Reacher is released 26th December.
