Tron: Legacy
Tron: Legacy has stormed tot he top of the UK box office, toppling Voyage of the Dawn Treader and beating off competition from Yogi Bear.
The movies sees Jeff Bridges return to the role of Kevin Flynn eighteen years after the original in 1982.
Sam Flynn, a rebellious 27-year-old, is haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his father Kevin Flynn, a man once known as the world's leading video-game developer.
When Sam investigates a strange signal sent from the old Flynn's Arcade -- a signal that could only come from his father -- he finds himself pulled into a digital world where Kevin has been trapped for 20 years.
The movie grossed $43.6 million at the box office this weekend to take the top spot while Yogi Bear had to settle for second.
The popular cartoon is brought to the big screen, with Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake voicing Yogi and Boo Boo.
The movie too $16.7 million to be the second highest entry this week. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, the third movie in the Narnia franchise, fell two place to round off the top five.
There was another new entry in at four in the form of The Fighter, which did well last week picking up a whole host of award nominations; including Golden Globes.
The Tourist fell three places from two to this week's number five. Tangled was also down three at number six while Black Swan fell just one place from six to seven.
The final entry of the week was How Do You Know, which sees Reese Witherspoon back on the big screen, and it opened at number eight.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 was the biggest faller this week as it dropped five place to number nine. Unstoppable was also down five as it finished at number ten.
