Ugly Betty Heading for Big Screen?

Ugly Betty is set for a revival on the big screen - if cast members get their way.
 
Actress Ana Ortiz tells Latina.com she and the show's star, America Ferrera, have launched a crusade to bring lovable intern Betty Suarez back as fans prepare to bid the series farewell on 14 April (10).
 
Ortiz, who plays Hilda Suarez on the show, says, "I will say this: It’s open. There may be a movie!
 
"It’s something that we’ve been talking about and it’s something that America Ferrera would really
 love to do.
 
"That woman has so much determination that I can’t imagine anything she puts her mind to not getting done."

Ugly Betty first premiered on ABC back in 2006 and follows Betty Suarez as she lands a job at fashion magazine Mode.

The show has run for four series.
