Uma Thurman Praises Robert Pattinson

Uma Thurman believes that Robert Pattinson is going to be a 'serious actor'

The pair star together in new movie Bel Ami, which also features Kristen Scott Thomas and Christina Ricci, and Thurman had nothing but praise for the Twilight star.

Speaking to MTV News the actress said: "Robert Pattinson is, I think, going to be a really serious actor.

"I think he's incredibly concrete in his presence on the set and obviously is very handsome. [He] is a very nice person and he's sensitive. He's present. ... He's a really good actor.

"Yes, he's extremely dashing, like an old-world movie star. [But] he's got a lot of weight to him.

"I don't think he was knocked down by all the women they threw at him [during the filming of 'Bel Ami'], which I think is probably lucky for him."

We haven't see Thurman on the big screen since taking on the role of Medusa in Percy Jackson & the Lightning Thief last year but she has a whole host of projects in the pipeline.

Ceremony, Bel Ami and Movie 43 are all to be released this year while Foolproof, Playing the Field and Eloise in Paris are just a few of the films on the horizon.
