Hanks and Tykwer have previously worked together on Cloud Atlas and now they have teamed up once again for the adaptation of the novel by Dave Eggers.

As well as being in the director's chair for the film, Tykwer has also adapted Eggers' novel into a screenplay.

Hanks is set to take on the central role of business man Alan Clay and he is in the middle of a rather strange dream in this new clip. Take a look:

A Hologram For The King is the first time that we have seen Hanks on the big screen since the success of Bridge of Spies and he is joined on the cast list by Sarita Choudhury, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Tom Skerritt, and Ben Whishaw.

A Hologram For The King follows businessman Alan Clay (Hanks) on a journey halfway around the world, far from his American roots, to a rising Saudi Arabian city.

Based on the best-selling novel by Dave Eggers, Clay is dispatched to pitch a new IT contract to a wealthy King, a project that must be a success for him to stave off bankruptcy, pay his daughter's college fees, and finally accomplish something big.

A Hologram For The King is released 20th May.
