A Most Wanted Man

A Most Wanted Man

A Most Wanted Man is set to be one of the films not to miss this autumn, as another of John le Carre's novels is adapted for the big screen.

We have already seen Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and The Constant Gardener have been adapted for film, and this is set to another terrific political thriller.

A Most Wanted Man marks the return of Anton Corbijn in the director's chair, while Andrew Bovell has adapted Carre's novel into a screenplay.

The brand new UK trailer for the film has been released, and we have it for you to take a look at:

Corbijn has brought together a really exciting cast for A Most Wanted Man, as Philip Seymour Hoffman, Rachel McAdams, Robin Wright, Daniel Bruhl, and Willem Dafoe are all on board.

Present day Hamburg: a tortured and near-dead half-Chechen, half-Russian man on the run arrives in the city’s Islamic community desperate for help and looking to recover his late Russian father’s ill-gotten fortune.

Nothing about him seems to add up; is he a victim, thief or, worse still, an extremist intent on destruction? Drawn into this web of intrigue is a British banker and a young female lawyer, determined to defend the defenseless.

All the while, they are being watched by the brilliant, roguish chief of a covert German spy unit, who fights to put the pieces together as the clock ticks.

A Most Wanted Man is released 12th September.
