Absolutely Fabulous is one of the most iconic and much-loved television series of all time... and now Edina and Patsy are coming to the big screen.

Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley are set to reprise the central characters. Julia Sawalha, Jane Horrocks, and June Whitfield are also back as Saffy, Bubble and Mother.
As well as reprising the role of Edina, Saunders has also penned the film's screenplay while Mandie Fletcher is in the director's chair. Fletcher is no stranger to Absolutely Fabulous - having directed some of the TV episodes - but this will be her first big screen feature since Deadly Advice back in 1994.
We are going to have to wait until July for the film to hit the big screen, but the first poster for the movie has arrived.
Of course, there will be plenty of celebrities set to make an appearance in the film with Rebel Wilson, Cara Delevingne and Gwendoline Christie being just some of the famous faces to watch out for.
Appropriate for their big screen debut, Edina and Patsy are still oozing glitz and glamour, living the high life they are accustomed to; shopping, drinking and clubbing their way around London's trendiest hotspots. Blamed for a major incident at an uber fashionable launch party, they become entangled in a media storm and are relentlessly pursued by the paparazzi.
Fleeing penniless to the glamorous playground of the super-rich, the French Riviera, they hatch a plan to make their escape permanent and live the high life forevermore!
Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie is released 1st July.
