Act of Valor
Act of Valour has toppled Denzel Washington's Safe House from the number one spot at the U.S. box office.
Directed by Mike McCoy & Scott Waugh the movie follows an elite team of NAVY SEALs as they set on an undercover mission to save a CIA agent.
The movie took $24,7 million in it's opening weekend to comfortably see off the challenger from Tyler Perry's Good Deeds.
The latest movie from director/actor Tyler Perry had to settle for second this week as it opened with $16 million
Journey 2: The Mysterious Island is still enjoying success at the box office after it climbed a place into the top three.
Last week's number one Safe House was down three at number four while The Vow was also down three to round off the top five.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance was down three places at this week's number six while This Means War fell just two spots from five to seven.
Jennifer Aniston's latest comedy, which sees her team up with Paul Rudd, opened at a very disappointing seven.
While Gone, which stars Amanda Seyfried was the fourth and final new entry inside the top ten this week.
Animation movie The Secret World of Arrietty was down one place to complete the top ten.
