Adam Sandler and Jennifer Garner may star in 'Men, Women and Children'.

Director Jason Reitman is set to helm the big screen adaptation of Chad Kultgen's best-selling novel and has set his sights on the A-list actors to play the lead roles, according to Deadline.

Joining Sandler and Garner would be 'Rachel Getting Married' actress Rosemarie DeWitt, while Cameron Diaz is also said to be eyeing a role in the movie, which will begin production in November.

Kultgen's book follows a family with teenage children, who are coming to terms with puberty and sexuality in the modern era of the internet, which makes pornography, blogs and social media easily accessible.

Reitman shot to fame with his 2007 teen pregnancy movie 'Juno', which earned actress Ellen Page an Oscar nomination, and also directed Anna Kendrick and George Clooney in the critically acclaimed 'Up in the Air'.

The director is set to launch his new movie, 'Labor Day', starring Kate Winslet, at Toronto International Film Festival this week.

Sandler recently starred in 'Grown Ups 2', reuniting with a familiar cast of characters including Kevin James, David Spade and Salma Hayek.

Meanwhile, Garner is currently filming Disney family adventure, 'Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day'.
