Finally hitting UK cinemas tomorrow (August 11), creepy new film Annabelle: Creation will delve deeply into the world of the titular doll and its origins story, with director David Sandberg and producer James Wan leading the charge. See the two chat about the film in the new featurette for the flick below:

Taking place several years after the tragic death of a young girl, the deceased’s dollmaker father and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, but it doesn’t take long before they become the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.

Those who are already fans of The Conjuring and the universe it exists in will be familiar with the Annabelle doll, but up until this point, not much had been revealed about its mysterious past.

Stephanie Sigman stars as Sister Charlotte, alongside Miranda Otto, Lulu Wilson, Anthony LaPaglia, Talitha Bateman, Alicia Vela-Bailey, Kerry O’Malley and Philippa Coulthard.
