Meet Agent Lorraine Broughton (Charlize Theron); the crown jewel of Her Majesty’s Secret Intelligence Service and the most lethal assassin that MI6 has ever seen. She’s the lead character in brand new breakneck action-thriller Atomic Blonde, directed by David Leitch and written by Kurt Johnstad, and based on the Oni Press graphic novel The Coldest City, by Antony Johnston and illustrator Sam Hart.

Described as “equal parts spycraft, sensuality and savagery”, Agent Broughton has a will to succeed and survive in all of her missions. Sent out to Berlin to deliver a priceless dossier out of the city, she partners up with station chief David Percival (James McAvoy) to make her way through the deadliest game of spies she’s ever been involved in.

Now a brand new poster for the flick has been revealed, showcasing Theron’s character in a beautifully stunning piece of art. The poster is equal parts noir as it is action thriller, as we see Agent Broughton brandishing a firearm and seductively (we imagine) looking down the frame behind darkened sunglasses.

John Goodman, Til Schweiger, Eddie Marsan, Sofia Boutella and Toby Jones all also star.

Atomic Blonde comes to cinemas in the UK on Friday, August 11.
