Bryan Singer says there is more of an 'international flair' in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Singer is back in the director's chair for the latest X-Men movie and he says that this film will take place around the world and is more international than any of the other movies in the franchise.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter the director said: "It takes place all over the world, including in Russia, China and Japan. So there will more of an international flair than the other films."

Filming is still underway on the movie which is a sequel to X-Men: First Class, which was released back in 2011.

James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult are all back along with some familiar faces from the original trilogy.

Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan are back as Professor X and Mangeto while Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry are reprising the roles of Wolverine and Storm.

Matthew Vaughn may not be in the director's chair this time around but he has penned the screenplay along with Simon Kinberg and Jane Goldman.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is released 18th July.
