While Chris O'Dowd doesn't really think that the action movie is for him he has revealed that he has shot a small scene for Thor: The Dark World.
While the actor did not say just what his role would be in the second Thor movie he admitted that he did have lots of fun stepping into the franchise.
Speaking to Indiewire the actor said: "I don't know if I'd do an action movie, because I don't know if I could keep a straight face honestly, I just think it's so silly. Like I love watching them but I can't imagine me doing one.
"Actually, you know what I've done, just for fun because I didn't think there was any way that I could be in a superhero movie...
"I've done a scene in the new Thor movie, just for that. I just do like one scene, which was quite fun."
Chris Hemsworth will reprise the role of Thor in the film while Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman and Anthony Hopkins are also back.
As for O'Dowd he will be back on the big screen later this year with Cuban Fury, Hippie Hippie Shake and Calvary.
Thor: The Dark World is released 30th October.
