It has been revealed in a new image that Deadpool is a Judy Blume fan.

A great new image from the film has been released by Ryan Reynolds via Twitter and shows the superhero trying to connect with youngster Brianna Hildebrand, who takes on the role of Ellie Phimister / Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

However, there doesn't seem to be much love there so Deadpool has turned to Judy Blume, an American novelist who is famed for writing children and young adult books.

Deadpool is already one of the most talked about movies of 2016 and was a huge hit when the trailer played at Comic Con earlier this summer - it really is one of the early 2016 movies that I cannot wait to see.

We first saw Reynolds take on this role back in 2009 when he appeared as Wade Wilson in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. There has been a lot of talk about a solo movie since, and Reynolds has been the driving force in getting it to the big screen.

Thankfully, the wait is almost over and it looks like we are in for an action packed and hilarious ride - the role of Deadpool really was made for Reynolds.

Reynolds will be joined on the cast list by Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, Gina Carano, and T.J. Miller, while Tim Miller will be in the director's chair. Deadpool will mark the feature film directorial debut for Miller, while Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick have teamed up to pen the screenplay.

2016 is set to be a huge year if you are a fan of the comic book movie and Deadpool is the first film in this genre that is not to be missed. It really is set to be like any other comic book film that we will see next year and I cannot wait to see Reynolds in action in this terrific central role.

Deadpool is released 5th February 2016.
