Deadpool has been winning over audiences around the world since the film blasted onto the big screen last weekend - the movie is top of both the UK and U.S. charts for a second week.

The movie is closing in on the $500 million mark at the global box office, having taken $497 million in just two weeks. The movie took a further £5.6 million in the UK over the weekend to comfortably stay in the #1 spot.

Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip was a second none-mover as the family favourite stayed put at number two.

How To Be Single was the highest new entry inside the top ten this week as the comedy opened at number three. The movie is based on the book of the same name by Liz Tuccillo and sees Christian Ditter in the director's chair.

Dakota Johnson teams up with Rebel Wilson, Leslie Mann, and Alison Brie and the film took £1.8 million in its opening weekend.

Goosebumps and Dad's Army switched places on the chart this week, as they ended the weekend at four and five. Goosebumps was the only the film on the up.

Triple 9 was the second and final new entry as the ensemble crime drama opened at number six. Directed by John Hillcoat, the movie sees Casey Affleck, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Anthony Mackie, Aaron Paul, Woody Harrelson, and Kate Winslet all star.

Zoolander 2 was the biggest faller on the chart this week as the comedy dropped from three to number six. Despite fans waiting fifteen years for the film to hit the big screen, it has struggled with the critics and at the global box office.

The Revenant slipped two from six to eight while Star Wars: The Force Awakens was a second none-mover at number nine. Spotlight rounded off the top ten, falling from last week's number eight.
