Emily Blunt has joined the cast of psychological thriller Sister.
The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Rosamund Lupton and, according to The Wrap, the actress will play a woman who investigates the death of her sister.
StudioCanal is financing the film but a writer and a director are yet to be found.
Blunt, who is expecting her first child, has had a busy 2013 having completed filming on Edge of Tomorrow.
Edge of Tomorrow sees her team up with Tom Cruise for the first time, while Doug Liman is in the director's chair.
The actress is currently working on Rob Marshall's Into the Woods, which is based on the book by James Lapine.
A great cast has been assembled for the film as Blunt will star alongside Johnny Depp, Anna Kendrick and Meryl Streep.
The stars were recently spotted filming in England and Blunt had her baby bump covered by her costume.
