We have already been treated to the first poster for Ex Machina this week, and now the brand new trailer for the movie has arrived.

Ex Machina is a 2015 movie that is already whipping up a bit of a storm and it is one of the films from next year that I am already looking forward to - however, we are going to have to wait until for it to hit the big screen.
The movie will mark the feature film directorial debut for Alex Garland - who is best know as a screenwriter for the likes of 28 Days Later and Sunshine - who has also penned the screenplay for the film. I am really looking forward to seeing what he delivers as he makes the leap to the director's chair for the first time.

And the writer/director has brought together a very exciting cast, as Domhnall Gleeson, Oscar Isaac, Alicia Vikander, and Chelsea Li are jus some of the names on board. This is the first of Gleeson and Isaac's film projects together, as they are both set in star in Star Wars: Episode VII next year.
Ex Machina is an intense psychological thriller in which Caleb (Gleeson), a 24 year old coder at the world's largest internet company, wins a competition to spend a week at a retreat belonging to the company's reclusive CEO, Nathan (Isaac).
But when Caleb arrives, he finds that he will have to participate in a fascinating experiment with the world's first true artificial intelligence, housed in the body of a beautiful robot woman, Ava (Vikander).
Truths, emotions and motives are blurred as the relationship between Caleb, Ava and Nathan intensifies.
It looks like we are going to be treated to quite a few exciting science fiction films in 2015, but Ex Machina is one of the first that I am getting really excited for.
