Felicity Jones is set to lead the cast in new film A Monster Calls.
A Monster Calls is set to see Jones team up with filmmaker Juan Antonio Bayona for the first time: this is the first film for the director since The Impossible.
Written by Patrick Ness, A Monster Calls is set to follow a young boy who tries to cope with his mum's illness by asking a tree monster for help.
Deadline have reported that Jones will play the mum in the film, while Liam Neeson has been approached to play the monster.
2014 has already been a busy year for Jones, with the release of The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider Man 2.
She has also completed work on True Story and Theory of Everything.
Theory of Everything will see her play the role of Jane Hawking, in a film about Stephen Hawking's relationship with his wife.
The movie sees Jones star alongside Eddie Redmayne and Emily Watson, while James Marsh is in the director's chair.
