Jesse Eisenberg is set to take over the role of Lex Luthor in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and here is the first picture of him as the iconic villain.
Eisenberg is just one of the new faces on the cast list to Dawn of Justice, which is the sequel to 2013 film Man of Steel, and I can't wait to see him tackle this great role.
This will be the first time that we have seen Lex Luthor in the reboot of the Superman franchise - Zack Synder and co deciding to start with General Zod in Man of Steel.
Henry Cavill is set to reprise the role of Superman in the film, while the likes of Amy Adams, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne are also back... but there are a whole host of exciting new additions on the cast list.
As well as Eisenberg as Luthor, we are going to be introduced to Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Jason Momoa as Batman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman - we are well and truly on the way to a Justice League film.
We have seen Eisenberg in the likes of The Social Network and Zombieland in recent years, but Dawn of Justice is set to be the biggest film and role of his career to date. We might even be seeing Lex make an appearance in Suicide Squad next year.
And we are going to be seeing plenty of him on the big screen this year as he has also completed work on Louder Than Bombs and American Ultra.
He is currently filming Now You See Me: The Second Act, which will see him reprise the role of J. Daniel Atlas alongside Woody Harrelson, Michael Caine, and Mark Ruffalo.
Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice is released 25th March 2016.
