Guardians of the Galaxy is without a doubt one of the best Marvel movie properties the modern day has seen, with the space adventure flick proving extremely popular upon the release of its first movie in the series back in 2014. Now there’s just a few weeks to go until the second instalment hits the big screen, and a brand new TV spot sees the heroes in action, christened with a brand new name:

When the ‘Gardens of the Galaxy’ do make their return, viewers are being promised one of the most addictive and compelling adventures a Marvel movie has ever brought to fans. One of the main reasons the first film did so well was because of the character development and impressive roster of actors involved, and it looks as if that trend is something that’ll be continued, with a bit of added humour to get everybody smiling amongst the chaos.

Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana lead the all-star cast as Star-Lord and Gamora respectively, alongside Chris Sullivan as Taserface, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Vin Diesel as Baby Groot, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Dave Bautista as Drax, Nathan Fillion as Simon Williams, Tommy Flanagan as Tullk, Michael Rooker as Yondu and Kurt Russell as Ego.

James Gunn directs and wrote the film, based on the Marvel comic books by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 comes to cinemas in the UK and Ireland on April 28, 2017.
