Ritchie recently gave the former footballer a cameo as a spectacled projectionist in his new movie 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E.' and has now teased there is more acting work on the way for the father-of-three.

Guy - who wed model Jacqui Ainsley last week - said: "David really is one of the best men you could wish to meet and fantastic to have around on a film set.

"He looks pretty good on a big screen and yes you'll be seeing more of him in my next film."

The acclaimed director - who was married to Madonna from 2000 until 2008 - is currently shooting 'Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur' featuring Charlie Hunnam and Jude Law, with the 40-year-old hunk listed as playing Blackleg Leader in the movie on IMDB.com.

And commenting on casting David as a geeky character in 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E.', the 46-year-old star joked he did it to hide his good looks.

He told The Sun newspaper: "When I was looking for someone for a cameo, how could I resist putting one of the most handsome and photographed men in the world into a pair of specs and hide him behind a large projector?"
